Before ordination, he had a one-year missionary experience in Argentina (2007-2008). After serving as a parish priest in Montreal North and in the Ahuntsic district for a few years, he then served at the Archdiocese of Montreal as secretary to the Archbishop (2012-2013) and as assistant to the Director of the Office of Pastoral Personnel (2013-2015). He was sent to study in Rome, where he obtained a canonical license in moral theology at the Alphonsian Academy (2017). He is currently writing a doctoral thesis in the same discipline at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum). Upon returning to Canada in March 2020, he was appointed member of the formation team of the Major Seminary of the Archdiocese of Montreal, where he currently also serves as Director of Studies and Professor of Christian Ethics.
