Robin Dick, Interim Director
Robin Dick (B.A., B.A. B.Ed., M.A.) is a recently retired ESL teacher who enjoyed a long career working with young adults at the high school and college levels. With more than 13 years of post-secondary education in a variety of fields (ESL, French, Italian, German, Religious Studies, and Linguistics) at different institutions, Mr. Dick’s interests and experience vary broadly. As husband to Dr. Gabriella Gobbi, a psychiatrist and research lab director at McGill, father of eight children and grandfather of two (so far!), he brings to Newman a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that young people face in today’s world.

Rev. Dr. Anthony Atansi, Chaplain
Fr. Anthony Chukwuemeka Atansi is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Awka, Nigeria. He obtained a Doctor of Sacred Theology (Ph.D. and S.T.D) in 2020, with the greatest distinction, from KU Leuven, Belgium. His doctoral dissertation is entitled "Christ, the Image of Social Transformation: Towards a Transformative Christology in the African Context". He was a Research Fellow at the Centre for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology of DePaul University, Chicago, USA. He brings to Newman years of pastoral and academic experience in Nigeria, Belgium and United States of America.

Manon Proulx, Administrative Coordinator
Manon Proulx was born in Montreal, but has lived in Toronto, ON for 18 years and in the United States of America for the past 9 years. In addition to having a degree in Business Administration, Computer Programming and Accounting from UQAM, she is a musician who plays all kinds of guitars and is a choir director. Besides being fully trilingual (French, English and Italian), she has many years of experience in mentoring and working with youth and young adults as a Focolare Movement Youth Coordinator in Toronto, ON, Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, PA and Montreal, QC. She values encounter, dialogue and inclusion in guiding young adults on their intellectual, social and spiritual journeys.
Manon loves all kinds of sports, but the best is watching a good Montreal Canadiens hockey game!

Maja Zbogar, Music Coordinator
Maja is an avid performer, teacher and collaborator. She holds a degree in Piano Performance at Western University, where she studied with Stéphan Sylvestre, and is now completing her Master’s degree at McGill University in Collaborative Piano under the guidance of Michael McMahon. During her time at Western, Maja had the opportunities to perform as a solo and collaborative pianist in addition to being a chorister in the Western University Singers choir. In 2025, she joined the staff of London-based organization El Sistema, where she conducted and coached the youth choir. Choral singing has been a part of her life since early childhood, and she continues to engage in choral activities and church cantoring during her studies. In addition to performing, she loves teaching, and has been teaching piano for the past 10 years.

Dr. Spencer Boudreau, Ombudsperson
Dr. Boudreau is the ombudsperson of the Newman Centre. He retired from McGill in 2013 where he served as Director of Student Teaching and as Associate Dean of Students in the Faculty of Education and as Ombudsperson for Students. His research interests and publications include the subject of religious education in public and private schools. He was a member of the Catholic Committee of the Ministry of Education during the debate surrounding the place of religion in Quebec schools.
